# Pattern Projects vs Mékery

The clearest difference is ads: Pattern Projects at none against Mékery's shown. Mékery's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 5 weeks) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pattern Projects sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Mékery sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pattern Projects ships an update every 5 weeks, Mékery every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
