# Buzz vs Yarty

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Buzz at 8 against Yarty's 1. Yarty's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Buzz against 5.0 for Yarty. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Buzz has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
