# Once vs GuestSnap

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: GuestSnap at none against Once's 18. GuestSnap also leads on ads (none vs shown). Once's advantage is ratings volume (690 vs 8) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, rating, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Once sells 18 one-off in-app purchases. GuestSnap asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Once against 4.8 for GuestSnap. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Once has 690 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Once ships an update every 4 days, GuestSnap every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
