# Once vs Knips

The clearest difference is ads: Knips at none against Once's shown. Knips also leads on update cadence (daily vs every 4 days). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Once sells 18 one-off in-app purchases and Knips sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Once ships an update every 4 days, Knips daily. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
