# LauLap vs Session

The clearest difference is update cadence: LauLap at every 3 days against Session's weekly. LauLap also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LauLap sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and Session sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

LauLap ships an update every 3 days, Session weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
