# PoDex vs Centered Cardboard

The clearest difference is rating: Centered Cardboard at 4.9 against PoDex's 3.4. Centered Cardboard also leads on ratings volume (59 vs 7). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PoDex sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Centered Cardboard sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Centered Cardboard holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Centered Cardboard has 59 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two.

PoDex ships an update every 2 weeks, Centered Cardboard every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
