# Fever.Dream vs StochasticGrain

The clearest difference is update cadence: Fever.Dream at every 5 days against StochasticGrain's every 7 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fever.Dream sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month and StochasticGrain sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Fever.Dream ships an update every 5 days, StochasticGrain every 7 months. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
