# Visionary vs Cerebyte

The clearest difference is rating: Visionary at 4.8 against Cerebyte's 4.0. Visionary also leads on ratings volume (11 vs 1). Cerebyte's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Visionary sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and Cerebyte sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Visionary holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Visionary has 11 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Visionary ships an update every 9 days, Cerebyte weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
