# Mulligan Pro vs The 40

The clearest difference is rating: The 40 at 5.0 against Mulligan Pro's 4.4. The 40 also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 weeks) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.6). Mulligan Pro's advantage is ratings volume (7 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

The 40 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mulligan Pro has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
