# Boombastic vs Touch

The clearest difference is device support: Boombastic at 3 against Touch's 1. Boombastic also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.6). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Boombastic sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month and Touch sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Boombastic ships an update every 6 days, Touch every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
