# Notal Pro vs PDFora

The clearest difference is update cadence: PDFora at every 2 months against Notal Pro's every 5 months. PDFora also leads on iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Notal Pro sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and PDFora sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Notal Pro ships an update every 5 months, PDFora every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
