# APO Chronicles vs K

The clearest difference is rating: K at 4.5 against APO Chronicles's 1.0. K also leads on ratings volume (81 vs 1). APO Chronicles's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (75% vs 55%). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. APO Chronicles sells 12 one-off in-app purchases and K sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

K holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: K has 81 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of APO Chronicles's written reviews are positive against 55% of K's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
