# Remodeling vs Find Device

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Remodeling at none against Find Device's 3. Remodeling also leads on iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.0). Find Device's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Find Device sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Remodeling asks for nothing beyond the download.

Remodeling ships an update every 2 months, Find Device fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
