# Ghost Detector vs Thermal Camera

The clearest difference is update cadence: Thermal Camera at every 3 days against Ghost Detector's every 3 weeks. Ghost Detector's advantage is iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ghost Detector sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Thermal Camera sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ghost Detector ships an update every 3 weeks, Thermal Camera every 3 days. Both last shipped on October 7, 2026.
