# Salah Lock vs Prayer Pause

The clearest difference is monetization model: Prayer Pause at freemium against Salah Lock's subscription. Prayer Pause also leads on ratings volume (105 vs 1) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). Salah Lock's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Salah Lock sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and Prayer Pause sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Salah Lock holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Prayer Pause has 105 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.
