# NotoMe vs Alpha Discipline

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: NotoMe at none against Alpha Discipline's 3. NotoMe also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Alpha Discipline's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Alpha Discipline sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. NotoMe asks for nothing beyond the download.

NotoMe holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Alpha Discipline has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
