# Focus Study Timer vs Focusly

The clearest difference is ads: Focusly at none against Focus Study Timer's shown. Focusly also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and update cadence (every 2 days vs weekly). Focus Study Timer's advantage is ratings volume (76 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Focus Study Timer sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Focusly sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.59 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
