# Focus Study Timer vs Wanderjet

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Wanderjet at 100% against Focus Study Timer's 50%. Wanderjet also leads on ads (none vs shown). Focus Study Timer's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (98 vs 4). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Focus Study Timer sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Wanderjet sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Focus Study Timer holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Focus Study Timer has 98 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Focus Study Timer's written reviews are positive against 100% of Wanderjet's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Focus Study Timer ships an update every 8 days, Wanderjet fortnightly. Both last shipped on November 5, 2026.
