# CMSHT vs Spectra

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: CMSHT at none against Spectra's 1. CMSHT also leads on iOS requirement (17.5 vs 26.0). Spectra's advantage is update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 6 months) and device support (3 vs 1). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Spectra sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. CMSHT asks for nothing beyond the download.

CMSHT ships an update every 6 months, Spectra every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
