# CMSHT vs tone

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: CMSHT at none against tone's 1. CMSHT also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 88%). tone's advantage is update cadence (every 10 days vs every 6 months) and chart position (#207 vs unranked). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. tone sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. CMSHT asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for CMSHT against 5.0 for tone. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: tone has 24 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.
