# Brikr vs SetShelf

The clearest difference is ads: SetShelf at none against Brikr's shown. SetShelf also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.2). Brikr's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Brikr sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and SetShelf sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Brikr ships an update every 5 days, SetShelf every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
