# FluidCast vs RSS24

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: RSS24 at none against FluidCast's 3. RSS24 also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 11 days). FluidCast's advantage is ratings volume (5 vs 1) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, ads and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FluidCast sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. RSS24 asks for nothing beyond the download.

RSS24 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FluidCast has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

FluidCast ships an update every 11 days, RSS24 every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
