# Yapper Live vs Lento

The clearest difference is rating: Yapper Live at 4.3 against Lento's 3.5. Lento's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (50% vs 40%). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Yapper Live sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and Lento sells 9 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Yapper Live holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 44 and 15 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 40% of Yapper Live's written reviews are positive against 50% of Lento's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Yapper Live ships an update every 8 days, Lento fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
