# Screenfully vs Orca IDE

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Orca IDE at 87% against Screenfully's 50%. Orca IDE also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 3) and update cadence (every 3 days vs fortnightly). Screenfully's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.6). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Screenfully sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Orca IDE asks for nothing beyond the download.

Screenfully holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Orca IDE has 47 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Screenfully's written reviews are positive against 87% of Orca IDE's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Screenfully ships an update fortnightly, Orca IDE every 3 days. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
