# SmartGrip vs Pulse

The clearest difference is update cadence: Pulse at every 3 days against SmartGrip's every 4 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SmartGrip sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Pulse sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SmartGrip ships an update every 4 weeks, Pulse every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
