# Podmint vs ReadInstead

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: ReadInstead at 13.0 against Podmint's 15.1. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Podmint sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and ReadInstead sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $7.19 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
