# Brain Train vs Lobe

The clearest difference is update cadence: Lobe at every 4 days against Brain Train's every 3 weeks. Brain Train's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Brain Train sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $3.99 per month and Lobe sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Brain Train ships an update every 3 weeks, Lobe every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
