# AlignShot vs PastPresent

The clearest difference is ads: AlignShot at none against PastPresent's shown. PastPresent's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.6). On price, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AlignShot sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and PastPresent sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AlignShot ships an update every 3 weeks, PastPresent every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
