# Flow vs SimpleBud

The clearest difference is update cadence: Flow at every 3 days against SimpleBud's fortnightly. SimpleBud's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flow sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and SimpleBud sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Flow ships an update every 3 days, SimpleBud fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
