# SelfClean vs TunnelProxy

The clearest difference is update cadence: TunnelProxy at every 3 days against SelfClean's weekly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SelfClean sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per 7 days and TunnelProxy sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SelfClean ships an update weekly, TunnelProxy every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on September 24, 2026 and September 12, 2026 respectively.
