# Afterpage vs SnapNote Sync

The clearest difference is update cadence: Afterpage at every 5 days against SnapNote Sync's every 2 months. SnapNote Sync's advantage is iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Afterpage sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and SnapNote Sync sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Afterpage ships an update every 5 days, SnapNote Sync every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
