# Terminal & SSH vs mobitty

The clearest difference is update cadence: Terminal & SSH at every 4 days against mobitty's every 2 months. Terminal & SSH also leads on iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Terminal & SSH sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and mobitty sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Terminal & SSH ships an update every 4 days, mobitty every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
