# NumBee vs LetterMagic

The clearest difference is update cadence: LetterMagic at every 5 days against NumBee's every 6 weeks. LetterMagic also leads on iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NumBee sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and LetterMagic sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

NumBee ships an update every 6 weeks, LetterMagic every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
