# IPTV Core vs Uni IPTV Player UniTV Xtream

The clearest difference is rating: IPTV Core at 4.6 against Uni IPTV Player UniTV Xtream's 2.3. IPTV Core also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (31 vs 3). Uni IPTV Player UniTV Xtream's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 83%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. IPTV Core sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and Uni IPTV Player UniTV Xtream sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

IPTV Core holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: IPTV Core has 31 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of IPTV Core's written reviews are positive against 100% of Uni IPTV Player UniTV Xtream's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

IPTV Core ships an update every 6 weeks, Uni IPTV Player UniTV Xtream every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
