# Sub5 vs ForgeLift

The clearest difference is update cadence: ForgeLift at every 5 days against Sub5's fortnightly. Sub5's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sub5 sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month and ForgeLift sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Sub5 ships an update fortnightly, ForgeLift every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on September 24, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
