# Ripple Prayer vs Scripture Compass

The clearest difference is ads: Scripture Compass at none against Ripple Prayer's shown. Scripture Compass also leads on ratings volume (71 vs 1) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 9 days). Ripple Prayer's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ripple Prayer sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Scripture Compass sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ripple Prayer holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Scripture Compass has 71 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Ripple Prayer ships an update every 9 days, Scripture Compass every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
