# YourBreath vs GENUS

The clearest difference is ads: YourBreath at none against GENUS's shown. YourBreath also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months). GENUS's advantage is iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. YourBreath sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and GENUS sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

YourBreath ships an update every 2 weeks, GENUS every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
