# QUIT vs UV Index

The clearest difference is rating: QUIT at 4.0 against UV Index's 1.0. QUIT also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 weeks) and ratings volume (8 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. QUIT sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and UV Index sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

QUIT holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: QUIT has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

QUIT ships an update every 4 days, UV Index every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
