# ChronJour vs Skylog

The clearest difference is update cadence: Skylog at weekly against ChronJour's every 3 months. Skylog also leads on iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ChronJour sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Skylog sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ChronJour ships an update every 3 months, Skylog weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
