# Varro vs gainzy

The clearest difference is update cadence: gainzy at every 4 days against Varro's every 2 weeks. Varro's advantage is iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Varro sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $12.49 per month and gainzy sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Varro ships an update every 2 weeks, gainzy every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
