# Hypergate AI vs The Flow Portal

The clearest difference is rating: The Flow Portal at 5.0 against Hypergate AI's 4.2. The Flow Portal also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). Hypergate AI's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and ratings volume (31 vs 3). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hypergate AI sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $20.00 per month and The Flow Portal sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $29.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

The Flow Portal holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hypergate AI has 31 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Hypergate AI ships an update every 2 weeks, The Flow Portal every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
