# TipBrain | Tip Calculator vs Ago

The clearest difference is monetization model: Ago at free against TipBrain | Tip Calculator's free with in-app purchases. Ago also leads on ratings volume (20 vs 3). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TipBrain | Tip Calculator sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Ago sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TipBrain | Tip Calculator ships an update every 6 days, Ago weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
