# PomoSense vs Trance

The clearest difference is update cadence: Trance at every 2 days against PomoSense's every 2 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PomoSense sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Trance sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PomoSense ships an update every 2 months, Trance every 2 days. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
