# Belayers vs Canyon Guide

The clearest difference is ads: Belayers at none against Canyon Guide's shown. Canyon Guide's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Belayers ships an update every 2 months, Canyon Guide weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
