# EzTakeover vs Birdblocks

The clearest difference is update cadence: Birdblocks at every 10 days against EzTakeover's every 3 weeks. Birdblocks also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. EzTakeover sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month and Birdblocks sells 9 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

EzTakeover ships an update every 3 weeks, Birdblocks every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
