# Notebook Lists vs GlowNote

The clearest difference is ads: Notebook Lists at none against GlowNote's shown. GlowNote's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 8 months) and iOS requirement (16.6 vs 26.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Notebook Lists ships an update every 8 months, GlowNote every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on September 26, 2026.
