# OffLeaf vs Makeweight

The clearest difference is ads: Makeweight at none against OffLeaf's shown. OffLeaf's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs monthly) and ratings volume (6 vs 1). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OffLeaf sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Makeweight sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for OffLeaf against 5.0 for Makeweight. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: OffLeaf has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

OffLeaf ships an update weekly, Makeweight monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
