# Focus vs climbr

The clearest difference is update cadence: Focus at every 9 days against climbr's every 3 weeks. Focus also leads on iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Focus sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and climbr sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Focus ships an update every 9 days, climbr every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
