# Wordkeep vs AI Transcript

Wordkeep and AI Transcript both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Wordkeep's written reviews are positive against 0% of AI Transcript's. Wordkeep also leads on ads (none vs shown). AI Transcript's advantage is iOS requirement (16.6 vs 18.0). On price, rating, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Wordkeep sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and AI Transcript sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AI Transcript holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 11 and 11 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Wordkeep's written reviews are positive against 0% of AI Transcript's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Wordkeep ships an update every 2 weeks, AI Transcript every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
