# Wordkeep vs ITEMS 2

The clearest difference is update cadence: ITEMS 2 at every 2 days against Wordkeep's every 2 weeks. ITEMS 2 also leads on iOS requirement (15.6 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Wordkeep sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and ITEMS 2 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Wordkeep ships an update every 2 weeks, ITEMS 2 every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
